you know, now that I read this again, I see that it says fastest marine ANIMAL, not mammal, so I guess that would include fish and stuff too, huh? So I am going to say, I think they are called sunfish? I think that is what I am thinking of, or is it sword fish? No, I am going with sunfish...although those dolphin are pretty quick!
not sun fish...sailfish! Geeze! I am trying to remember what that big fish display back home was, and I think it was the sailfish, so that is my answer, SAILFISH!.
I have 2 children a 12 year old girl and an 11 year old boy. Wow that is an old picture. I have two cats. Two girls. I would love to have more but can not right now. In the future I will.
My newest website is dannieb123.wordpress.com Please feel free to check it out. I just started back up again after my tragedies.

A dolphin? They're pretty fast, keeping up w/boats and all.
I would have to say dolphin also
No, I'm thinking there's one faster, the whale. Between an Orca and a blue whale, I'd say blue whale.
ooops, just saw the rest of the question...think it's top speeds are around 30 mph (average).
ML - I didn't read very well either. I didn't read the rest until I read your comment! Double ooops!! :0 I'm not sure how fast though. Maybe 35-40mph.
I missed that part too...oh well, I still say the dolphin...they can fly, I would say about 30-35mph...give or take.
