Hmmmm...My 1st thoughts go to a whale. Couldn't tell you how loud, but I think they can be heard for miles by other whales. But as far as animals we can hear, an elephant. Ok, I'll have to get back to ya! My answer for now is an elephant.
I am going to say Blu Whale. Don't know the other part.
I agree, The Blue Whale, I think I just saw this on Discovery. I think it can be heard from miles and miles away (very scientific, I know.)
