The answer is a whale. I can't access my yahoo mail so I'm not 100% sure but I think it was the blue whale.It can get up to 188 decibles.

I'm thinking it's the ostrich. I know the ostrich's brain is smaller than it's eye! Or could it be the giant squid?
I'm going to go with Kat1, and say the Ostrich
hmmmm...you would think that the largest animal in the world would have the largest eye....so things would be proportioned, but that is not always true, but I am going to say the blue whale
Ta da...I was wrong...again! LOL

Thank goodness for cable TV -- the giant squid (or something like that) was on a show about animal records this past weekend. The eye on one they mentioned was measured at about 20".
