I have no idea, except my family is full of them! Grandmother, Dad, my brother, one of his kids, one of my sister's kids, and I go both ways!
Unfortunatly, the left-handedness in our family also seems to be tied to addictions--especially alcoholism. The good news is that most of us are recovering--I'm sneaking up on 21 years ::small pat on back, don't break arm::
I would guess about 1/3 of the population? It does seem to run in families, don't know if that is hereditary or environmental.
But that's just a wild guess, doesn't seem like it could really be 1 out of 3. But there it is!
BTW, we are all righthanded in my family, but we still had a lot of addictions (ha-ha)!!!
Ok I'm no good at trivia which is why I don't even try to answer these questions, but I'm gonna give it a guess and say 25 or 30%

I have 7 years. April fools day is my anniv. There are a bunch of AA members in my family. No lefties though.
gals, when we finally all get together to meet for the first time it is going to be sooo interesting. we are all so much the same and yet so very different. someone set a date and place please!!!!
